I was not ever planning on going back to school after I had my son until my mom told me she had a way that I could apply and get the funds to go back to school. When I heard that I got accepted for the scholarship, I was ecstatic! This meant I could finally get my life, my career going in the right direction, and be able to provide for my son and my family, making a better future for us all. Having this blessing has put into perspective how hard it is for young adults to get the funds and opportunity to go back to school and make something better for their future. My son will be able to look at his mommy going to school, working, taking care of our family, and all the while, not in debt hundreds of thousands of dollars!

Kids Chance of Nevada has given me the most incredible opportunity as a mother, young women, wife and overall member of society to put the steps into motion to become the best me I can be. To have the best future I can possibly have. I am beyond thankful for Kids Chance and I feel blessed to be one of the ones chosen to receive this scholarship.
